I needed a new coop poop system, so I’m moving to the “kitty litter” sand system.It’s an inexpensive and easy way to prevent the mud and standing rain when it rains, eases the effort of “digging out” during cleanings (poop accumulates fast), and keeps the coop floor cleaner and fresher with the addition of a simple long-handled poop scoop that I can usecto clean daily and then drop into the compost bin.
