It’s a nasal swab that collects mucous you’ve blown into a tissue, then uses DNA sequencing to identify bacterial species causing a problem. While qPCR and NGS is clearly superior to traditional swab/culture you have to look closer… 1️⃣ The swab is of “expressed” nasal mucous.
