A pair of CTA Brown Line trains meet at Armitage Station on the snowy morning of November 10, 2025. An inbound train is first, seen departing the station as it continues toward the Loop. Not long after, an outbound train enters the scene. That one is destined for Kimball at the end of the Brown Line. Both trains feature a mixture of 2600-series and 3200-series equipment. An inbound CTA Brown Line train crosses over Metra's Union Pacific North Line (UP-N) shortly after a lake effect snow squall tapered off, leaving the Roscoe Village neighborhood coated in a fresh blanket of powder! This location near Paulina Station is one my favorite locations on the CTA system. The curved trestle makes for a fun ride and a unique view - both from the train and from street level!
