Exercise FAN DANCE at the Infantry Battle School Exercise FAN DANCE is a gruelling navigation and endurance exercise that is conducted on each of our tactical courses (SCBC, PSBC and PCBC). The exercise is run across 24km (16 miles) of the Brecon Beacons. The students summit Fan Y Big, Cribyn, Pen Y Fan, Corn Ddu, Fan Dringarth and Fan Llia, carrying over 25kgs of equipment. At the foot of Fan Dringarth there is a little surprise for them, a 75 kg stretcher. The exercise usually takes each team
