Forty Footer 💦🐎🔨 . Still getting a lot of questions about these floor drains we build. Here’s a closer look at how we did this 40’ drain. . 1) Rip a 2x4 for the top ledge. Stays much straighter than buying 2x2’’s. 2) Slight taper in the 3/4” ply to make stripping easier. 3) Did 1.5” below ledge on high side and about 6” deep on the low end. 4) keep bottom form inset of the sides for easier stripping.
