🌍🐒 Bonobos belong in the wild, not as pets! Did you know bonobos are endangered and often victims of the illegal wildlife trade? At our sanctuary in the DR Congo, we rescue orphaned bonobos who’ve been taken from their natural homes and give them a second chance at life. Each baby receives nurturing care from a trained human “surrogate mother” and close monitoring by a veterinarian to ensure they’re healthy.
